This vehicle is powered by the MAN D20/ D26 engine renowned for both power and reliability. The vehicle is available in three variants; 360hp, 440hp and 480hp which can be configured in either single- or dual wheels to match specific customer requirements. The TGS 33.360 6×6 BB CH NN delivers 365kW and 1800 Nm of torque. MAN Truck and Bus is known for its performance in traction applications and this model is no different. With a 6×6 axle configuration and differential lock on both front and rear axles, the TGS 33.360 can easily manage even the roughest landscapes. The drive train is equipped with planetary hub reduction axles which ensure optimal traction and improved tractive force at the wheels.
The TGS 33.360 is characterized by its steel bumper and high built chassis frame. The three-piece steel bumper is designed to assist the vehicle in withstanding arduous environments while minimizing damage. The high chassis design is specific to off-road vehicles and delivers improved ground clearance, angle of approach and ramp angle, which are needed for operation on unpaved construction sites, impassable terrain and on surfaces other than well- constructed roads.
The chassis frame also allows for a wide range of body options to be fitted, making the TGS 33.360 suitable for various applications. To assist with adaptability the vehicle is fitted with a programmable body interface module (KSM)which offers a wide range of functions and adjustment options for Body Builders to tap into when configuring various equipment to the vehicle.
Another feature included with the Body Builders in mind is the heavy-duty gearbox driven power take-off (PTO) suitable for continuous operation. This allows for equipment to be integrated into the vehicle, while ensuring high functionality and reliability. Available as an optional extra in the TGS 33.360 is a four-function control module on the inside of the driver’s door. This gives the driver access to important functions even after exiting the vehicles. Two of the functions are pre-assigned for the hazard warning lights and switching the engine off or on. The remaining two functions can be programmed in accordance with the customers’ needs to operate ancillary equipment.
Equipped with advanced safety features including Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and Electronic Braking System (EBS), the TGS 33.360 ensures control and safety in all conditions.
